HAPPENING NOW: PUNCH #2!
Mission Possible 19 exemplifies our one-two punch approach to rescue: spay/neuter/vaccination ALONGSIDE adoptions. Earlier this month, we sterilized/vaccinated 194 stray satos over just two days - at no cost to their caretakers. That’s $650 worth of services implemented to further our mission in disrupting the stray dog overpopulation crisis in Puerto Rico. That was punch #1.
And now, we’re so excited to share that punch #2 is about to “land” - literally! The Sato Project has teamed up with Wings of Rescue to fly 110 satos and gatos from our program and rescue partners to the mainland on April 26th. Families will be made whole as eager adopters greet their new pets, and 110 animals will finally go home forever.
Thanks to your support, we are EXTREMELY close to hitting our fundraising goal and unlocking $60,000 in matching funds, generously offered by our friends at the RTA Store and other individual donors. We crossed the first hurdle of paying for a massive two-day TNR clinic earlier in the month, and now it’s time to bring Mission Possible 19 home so we can close the gap and pay for our Freedom Flight.
