My dear friends,
I am so excited to announce MISSION POSSIBLE 19—an urgent and life-changing initiative this spring to unite dozens of rescues from Puerto Rico with their new loving adopters, AND fund our expanded spay/neuter/vaccination program, Operation Sato.
It’s our one-two punch approach to rescue come to life:
PUNCH ONE → Freedom Flights. These transports connect our rescued and rehabilitated satos with families who will love and care for them. (AIRPLANE EMOJI)
PUNCH TWO → Operation Sato. Our high-volume mobile clinics and 250 monthly vouchers reduce unwanted litters and stops the spread of disease. They help both owned dogs and the TNR cases brought in by local feeding route caretakers on the ground.
Mission Possible 19 is the next big step in this effort. Here are some examples of how your generosity can make an immediate impact:
$100 – Provides four harnesses to safely secure our rescued dogs as they embark on their Freedom Flight to forever families.
$500 – Supplies five pulse oximeters to monitor sato oxygen levels during surgery.
$2,500 – Sponsors spay/neuter/vaccine appointments for 15 stray satos
We need your help to reach our MATCHING GOAL of $60,000 by April 15th. If we meet it, we’ll unlock $120,000 to fund our spring Freedom Flight and as many Operation Sato vouchers as possible.
The reason I am able to continue fighting this fight is because I know I am not in this alone. Thank you for being in my corner and for refusing to give up on these amazing dogs!
In gratitude,
Chrissy Beckles, Founder/President of The Sato Project
